Originally from Washington DC, Jin Bang has taught cutting edge styling techniques in over 75 cities across North America.  From New York to Los Angeles, and in European cities such as London and Barcelona, Jin has left his mark on the industry in every corner of the world.  In doing so, he has also had the opportunity to represent industry giants such as Pr @Partners (Washington DC), Bumble and Bumble (New York), Neuma Beauty (Carson, CA), Privé Laurent D. (Los Angeles), LuxHair Tabatha Coffey (Beverly Hills),  Toni and Guy (London, Paris and NYC).
 
Jin Bang began his career in 1998 at the early age of 15.  He was scouted and picked up as an apprentice at Pr @Partners with well known colorist, Michael Handsinger and London’s best stylist, Sean Stredwick.  During this time he also perfected his techniques under the tutelage of Vidal Sassoon and Toni and Guy Concepts.
 
In early 2002, Jin began teaching education and academy-based seminars for Pr @Parnters and educated for Bumble & Bumble throughout the Washington DC and North-East region of the United States. During this time, Jin Bang also attended and worked fashion and education events in the United Kingdom, Paris, Barcelona, Seoul and Toyko.
 
He was approached in 2006 by Laurent Dufourg, a legendary stylist from Privé Salons in Los Angeles, to be a lead educator for his arsenal team for the product company Privé Products. With Privé Salon and Privé Products, Jin Bang flew from coast to coast and worked on celebrity’s from:

Jin Bang resigned from the senior education team at Privé in 2010 and worked at Shades Natural Color Studio.  At Shades, Jin had the opportunity to master the art of Balayage using the best natural color in the market (Kemon Color).  At Shades Studio, Jin was recruited by the legenday Jeff Orrell, the Senior Vice President of NEUMA Beauty.  At NEUMA, Jin spearheaded the advancement of the first USDA NOP certified natural styling line available for the professional industry.
 
In 2013, the one and only Tabatha Coffee put together a styling team for her new brand LUXHAIR.  Jin was approached by Tabatha’s team at Abs Chicago where Jin Bang and the team presented a fashion runway collection that amazed the industry.
 
Jin now sees his clients at a salon on Robertson Blvd. in Beverly Hills.  He still spends much of his time travelling the world to educate stylists and salon owners alike, so contact him in advance to inquire his availability as a stylist, colorist, or educator!
